Junky Dragonflies

First there were junky signs, then junky butterflies and now I've made junky dragonflies.  I am putting these in my booth to sell and I really hope they sell, I love making them.  And I love a reason to look for more junk :)  I have more in the works!

The first one was made from an old table leg, and hardware from the 1970s, and some thin pieces of wood that were part of a wimpy little shelf from the thrift store.

The green dragonfly was made from a pepper mill, and 2 different kinds of finials from the thrift store.  Then I added some silver junk my stash.  I found a bundle of that stuff I made the wings out of at the Restore one day for $.10, its so cool!

Junky Butterflies

I have been bitten my the junk bug and my creations are starting to take on a new look!  I can't wait to share my other junky creations with you this week!

Lucy from the fabulous blog, Lucy Designs makes gorgeous butterflies and once again she inspired me to make these.

I used a table leg, outdoor lighting pieces and some other junk to make what ended up being my favorite one!

On the one above, I used a table leg but also part of a broken table top and some rusty hardware.

This one is made from 2 different kinds of outdated candles sconces from the thrift store.

The table below is where the most of the parts came from, it was completely dilapidated and I am using every bit of it for various peojects!

Which one is your favorite?

Two Small Chalkboards

I really wish I had my act together enough to snap a before picture of everything I did.  Oh well, let's settle for two before pictures in one short post.  I am always glad to give you details if you want them, just ask and I will help you out.

I love this little red chalk board and cork board combo and it was neither a chalk or cork board before.
